Time is dwindling down

Well it's coming to the end of my three weeks in Paros and I'm very sad to say the least.
Last week we spent three days in santorini and loved it! But since then it's just been pretty low key back home on the island. Living life here seems so normal and natural now and I have friends that I would love to visit again one day. Here are some pictures from the past week!

Sailing away to Mykonos

Today we took a private sail boat to Mykonos! We left at 8 this morning and sailed back and were able to watch the sunset over Paros. It was a fun but very HOT day.

Photography assignment

For our first assignment we had to take twenty pictures and print 6 of our favorite. These are my 6 :)

Antiparos adventures

Today we traveled to Antiparos, an island close enough to swim to from Paros. We went and explored a cave and saw graffiti that is hundreds of years old! Then we got on a boat and went swimming in some caves. It's been a fun day and we are all exhausted! Tomorrow we are heading to Mykonos for the day, so until then!

γειά σου!

Hello from Greece!

I dont even know where to begin! I have been in Greece for 5 days and to say the least, I love it! After arriving in Athens on the 5th, we stayed there for two nights and got a little taste of the city. We wine and dined on roof top gardens and toured the beautiful acropolis. To ease any uneasy minds about what has been on the news about Greece, I was unable to see any visible evidence of riots and protesters. (we stayed on the opposite side of the city). But now I am on Paros island in my beautiful dorm room which is a few steps from the beach! So far we have taken a tour of the island (which included cliff jumping :) and have gotten to hang out with the locals. The Greeks are so nice and welcoming and I'm really loving my time here. Not only have we been able to meet many Greeks but because we are staying in a hostel, we have been able to interact with some travelers as well. It's such a cool experience to be in a place with people from all over the world. I am enjoying my photography class so fat, but unfortunately I will not be able to upload any pictures from my camera while I am here, so all the pictures you see are from my phone.
