The changes aren't very noticeable, but I think it makes a big difference

Exploring Photoshop
This weekend I have the pleasure of taking my roommate and her fiance's engagement pictures and I decided to start exploring Photoshop and Lightroom a little more so that I can edit the pictures well. This post is to show you my progress of learning how to make the eye's pop :-) I used Addison ( one of my beautiful nieces) and Clay as test subjects.

Giving Thanks :-)
This Thanksgiving we have many things to be thankful for, along with every other day of the year! I'm thankful for my loving family, my wonderful friends, the doors that God continues to open for me and all the many blessing I receive daily, but above all i'm thankful for the Lord's grace and mercy he gives us everyday and for sending his son to die for a sinner like me.
At the beginning of this summer I started a "Thankful" book. It was a little book that I would carry around with me and I would write down everything I felt thankful for. I wanted to practice appreciating the Lord and EVERYTHING he does daily. Unfortunately I did not stick to it very long, but I would love to start it again.
This holiday we spent in Atlanta with my mom's side of the family. After our lovely meal we all packed our bags and headed to Tennessee to the Whitewater Express camp that Diane works at. We stayed there for a couple days and enjoyed sitting by the fire, playing games and enjoying the beautiful mountains.
yum!
We played pictionary one night and my team ( lauren, jennings, and micheal) won everytime!

A wonderful visit with some wonderful girls :-)
I have realized something, I am awful at blogging! But I appreciate if you are still a faithful visitor!
Before school started I was able to go to Franklin, Tennessee and visit my sister, brother in law and two wonderful nieces! Here are a few pictures from the weekend :-)

Coming to an End
Well this is our last couple days here at Southwind, and need less to say, its getting pretty sad having to say goodbyes. Unfortunately Emma left yesterday and had to miss out on our Intern dinner together, but to have a last hooray, we went to Johnny Rockets to Celebrate a great summer.
For those of you who didn't know, we have been in Ocala for the past three months, and the only place to really go is "The Villages" which is a retirement community. They have dancing in the square every night until nine, which has been really fun and entertaining to go to.
I love the vintage feel of Johnny Rockets!
and the food as well! They have unlimited fries :-)
Jef and Angel have graciously taken us interns in this summer and host a "Intern Night" everyweek, along with John and Chrissy who also work on property at Southwind.
Lindsay and Justin, Ropes and Waterfront interns
Thomas, Kitchen Year long intern
Johnny and Nannie, Guest Services and Baker intern
Jason and I, Kitchen and Retail intern
Silly Nannie :-)
"Johnny" Rockets! haha

"He determines the number of stars and calls them each by name"
So i havent been able to take a lot of pictures lately because my memory card broke, BUT i finally got a new one and my first inspiration was God's wonderful creation: the stars. I don't want to brag but this first picture turned out pretty awesome! But it doesn't give any justice to how beautiful and powerful our King is. Every time i look at the stars I cant help but be in awe of His beauty.

Happy Birthday America!!
Fortunately we had the day off this 4th of July and were able to go to New Symrna Beach and stay at Justin's Condo. It was a great way to celebrate America and spend time with great friends :-)
