Colleen Karinne Carl

So many of you know that i am living with two lovely ladies, Annie and Colleen, but many of you don't know who Colleen is and where she came from or how she came to live with us in St.Augustine so i will tell you.
Colleen was raised in Detroit, Michigan and came to Florida to attend Clearwater College. Colleen is very involved with Young Life and has been a leader for about 5 or 6 years. This summer she was the store intern at Southwind camp in Ocala Florida and that is where me and Annie got the pleasure of meeting Colleen. We got to spend 5 weeks being with Colleen in the Southwind store and at the craft cart and during that time Colleen really felt called to be in St.Augustine after her recent graduation from college. And then by many unseen events and happenings, God opened the doors to the three of us living together in downtown. She is currently working with a company called Bricks for Kids and teaching kids how to build things with legos. She is also a receptionist at a Doctors office and is teaching music lessons on the side. We are so glad that God brought her into our lives and have so much fun hanging out and living with her!

Painting

So i had a request from my sister to do a abstract painting of the girls, so i decided to experiment and see what it would look like and this is what i got on my first try. i cant decide if i like it or not because it looks kind of "creepy" maybe, with all the eyes and what not, but i guess that is what abstract is....so i would love to know what you guys think. Thanks :-)
